Jenneifer Hudson has proved the weight watchers diet plan works, look at her, she looks wonderful and the singer even admits to allowing room for a bit of chocolate.
Looks like you made it, Jennifer Hudson! The slimmed-down singer gained fame for her dramatic weight loss on Weight Watchers. And now, as she shows off her fabulous figure on the December cover of Redbook, Jennifer has announced her decision: “I’m at the weight I want to be.” Since becoming Weight Watchers’ spokeswoman in 2010, Jennifer has lost more than 80 pounds, reported Us Weekly on Nov. 8. And she feels as wonderful as she looks.
Despite her new focus on maintaining her weight, Jennifer admits that people think she is trying to shed more pounds. “I hear all the time, ‘Don’t lose any more weight, you need to stop.’ People are under the impression that I’m still losing but I’m not,” Us Weekly noted. And although she seeks to have a positive body image, Jennifer confesses that she frequently forgets that she no longer needs a size 16. “”I’m getting used to my new self more than anything else,” she explained. “I got used to being plus-sized and knowing how to be that, whereas this is like, ‘Okay, who am I?’ I keep thinking that I probably need an extra-large or a large and the stylist is like, ‘No, you need a medium or a small.'”
To maintain her weight, Jennifer follows the Weight Watchers diet. But she does make room in her food plan for her favorite treat: Chocolate. Visiting Rachael Ray on her cooking show recently, Jennifer admitted, “Chocolate is like my cigarette. You know if somebody wants to go out and have a cigarette break when they get that down time? That’s what I do when I have chocolate.” In addition, she told Rachael that she works out regularly.
