12 Weight Loss Tips
I am not an expert or medical practitioner, but having lost 32 pounds in 4 months, these are my 12 weight loss tips are for you. I do speak from experience. If it helps you attain your own weight loss goals, then I’m happy to have helped. Most of this, I learned on my own. Feel free to add your own tips to this list, too!

1.Diet and exercise. It’s true what they say – all you need to do is expend more energy than you consume. It’s really that simple.
2.Change your lifestyle. Do not call this a “diet,”. Diets do work but Diets are temporary unless you change your dietary lifestyle permanently, by changing your habits you’re putting yourself on track for long-term success and weight maintenance.
3.Join an online support group. Weight loss can be difficult alone. Share successes, tears, laughter, stories, and failures – share them. There are thousands of support groups out there, so keep looking until you find the one that fits you.
4.Do not set deadlines to meet your weight loss goal). However, do use some form of recording your weight loss, I personally used the WII to weigh in and record my progress.
5.Start eating fresh, prepare your own food from fresh ingredients it takes about 20 minutes to prepare a tomatoe sauce for pasta from fresh tomatoes, make your own soup don’t just open a can. Nobody else is going to be able to lose the weight for you. It’s not that complicated a task, but it will require effort. 6.Exercise. Start by leaving the car at home walk to the local shops or around the block, No exercise was created equal. Find the one that works best for you, don’t pick a routine that you don’t like – or you won’t want to do it, and you certainly won’t stick with it for long.
7.Video games helped me lose weight. As I mentioned earlier the WII is a great aid, playing tennis on it will certainly give you a workout, the WII is a great eqauliser wether your 10 or 70 so the whole family can help with your weight loss.
8.Have realistic weight loss goals. . Slowly wins the race do not rush it, otherwise your weight will go back on.
9.Do not judge yourself to others. Everybody is different. Everybody will lose weight differently. Even if everybody does the exact same things, you won’t lose weight at the same rate. If you start looking at someone else’s habits, you may become discouraged and quit without even realizing that it’s physically impossible to be anybody but yourself.
Women are not men and it’s been proved that men can lose weight more rapidly than women can, which is probably due to our makeup (women are supposed to have more fat than men). This isn’t a sexist statement to make – it’s pretty much the truth. As such, females should set different weight loss goals than males – especially if you’re working on losing weight together.
10.Find your ideal weight. If you’re 6’2″ with a certain build, there’s an ideal weight that matches your body type. Find it – and make that your goal. And if you don’t know what that might be, try searching the Web for a calculator (though results and calculations will vary by a small margin). Now you have a weight goal to shoot for.
11.All weight is not equal. Muscle weighs more than fat, but the last thing you want to lose is muscle! For this reason alone, it’s important to have a regular exercise routine somewhere in your schedule. Without exercise, your body is going to burn through muscle first – and you’ll wind up more imbalanced than you were to begin with. You want your body to burn fat, not muscle. You want to lose weight, but you want to lose “fat” weight – not muscle mass.
12.Fat is essential. If you believe you can lose weight and keep it off by avoiding fats, you are mistaken. If you believe that low fat eating is the way to go, you might as well just give up now. Your body needs fat to survive! Scientists call “them” essential fatty acids – Omegas 3, 6, and 9. These fats have been removed from many foods, and you need to put fat back into your diet. Don’t avoid eating fat, embrace it.
